University of Arizona

Coming back reinvigorated after last year’s disappointing first-round loss to Wichita State, the Arizona Wildcats (30-4, 16-2 Pacific-12 Conference) are an intriguing pick. The team has everything going for it: Pac-12 all-star sophomore guard Allonzo Trier, veteran coach Sean Miller, a conference win and a hometown Final Four in Phoenix. It is worth mentioning that this is Trier’s first NCAA appearance following last year’s suspension after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. The Wildcat’s biggest hurdle will be overcoming Gonzaga in the Elite Eight, but with Trier’s determination, it can be done. Considering that before 2016, Arizona made it to at least the Sweet 16 for three years running, the Wildcats seem overdue for a win. Bear down and get ready for a big party in Phoenix.
