The Tulane student section will be located on the south end of Yulman Stadium. Students can pick up free tickets prior to the game with their Splash Cards at multiple locations including the Wilson Center.

Freshmen were most successful in securing student section tickets for Yulman Stadium, claiming 32 percent of the section. Sophomores, juniors and seniors claimed 24 percent, 16 percent and 25 percent, respectively, according to Tulane Athletics.

Student ticket pickup for the home opener against Georgia Tech began at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Wilson Athletics Center ticket office. Students claimed all allotted tickets for the game in less than two days.

Tulane Athletics, however, set aside another 500 seats for students to claim Aug. 28, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the ticket office. Students, who began lining up at 4 a.m., quickly claimed the remaining tickets.

“All [the student ticket distribution] numbers [are] off the charts on any national survey you could ever find,” Executive Associate Athletics Director Brandon Macneill said.

While all Tulane undergraduate and graduate students receive free student section tickets to all on-campus sporting events, graduate students claimed just 3 percent of the student section tickets.
