Around 7:50 p.m. Monday, Tulane University Police Department responded to an anonymous tip regarding the sale of narcotics on the 4th floor of Irby Hall.

While interviewing the residents, one student gave an officer written permission to search his side of the room. The officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the resident’s room and the suite-style bathroom.

TUPD confiscated the illegal materials and placed them in TUPD storage. The residents in the adjourning suites have been identified and will be questioned in relation to the incident.
