New Orleans Police Department arrested two teenage boys in connection with the murder of Domino’s Pizza driver Richard Yeager on Saint Louis Street on Tuesday, according to a press release. One of the boys, a 16-year-old who was wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet, was also placed at the scene of an armed robbery on Newcomb Boulevard Saturday night.

The shooting of Yeager occurred Monday in the 2800 block of Saint Louis Street. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. He had just made a delivery to a nearby residence, and his vehicle was missing from the scene.

After using the bracelet to place the 16-year-old at both crime scenes, NOPD obtained a warrant to search the boy’s house at the intersection of Pine and Forshey Streets. After a brief foot chase, police arrested the boy and boy who also wore an electronic monitoring bracelet.

Both teenagers are being charged with first degree murder. The boy who was allegedly at both scenes is also being charged with armed robbery.
