On Thursday, a Monroe Hall Resident Advisor reported to Tulane University Police Department that several students complained about a student selling cocaine out of her room.

TUPD officers visited the room and the student granted officers verbal permission to search her room.

During the search, officers located a large bag of marijuana brownies, three grams of marijuana, one gram of powdered cocaine, 10 tabs of LSD, one capsule of MDMA ecstasy, 124 prescription pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

The student was arrested and transported without incident.

The tier one and tier two Student Affairs Professionals on call were on scene.  Erica Woodley, the university attorney, was notified by telephone of the incident.
