Tulane University Police Department officers responded to a report of a residential burglary at 1:04 p.m. Tuesday at 636 Broadway Street.

Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with the reporting student who said his laptop was stolen from inside his home. Officers did not observe any signs of forced entry, and a search for CCTV cameras in the area was met with negative results.

New Orleans Police Department was notified of the incident, as was the Student Affairs Professional On-Call.
