Uptown, Downtown, Elmwood campuses closed due to possible flooding
Tulane’s New Orleans campuses, including the Uptown, Downtown and Elmwood campuses, will be closed tomorrow, Aug. 29. Classes are canceled, and offices will also be closed. Students can expect Bruff Commons and the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life to remain open.
The closure of New Orleans campuses follows a recommendation from Mayor Mitch Landrieu that all New Orleans residents “stay home tomorrow out of an abundance of caution.”
The Reily Recreation Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All group exercise classes are canceled for tomorrow.
