TUPD and NOPD respond to hit-and-run incident
Tulane University Police Department officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a Tulane shuttle at 9:52 p.m. Monday on the 1700 block of Baronne Street.
The shuttle driver came to a stop to drop off a passenger when an unknown vehicle crashed into the rear of the shuttle van, causing damage to the rear driver side. The unknown vehicle fled the scene.
The shuttle driver told the officers that his neck was in pain but refused medical treatment.
The New Orleans Police Department was notified and took over the investigation.
