Weekend Crime Report: October 27-29
Burglary, Drug Paraphernalia and Student Code Violation:
At 11:57 a.m. Saturday two students reported an X-Box and a safe stolen from their apartment in Aron Residence.
The responding Tulane University Police Department officer found the window to be unsecured. The officer also saw drug paraphernalia in plain view.
The drug paraphernalia was confiscated, photographs were taken, the Criminal Investigative Unit was notified, a Maxient report was completed and Facilities was notified.
Public Intoxication:
A TUPD officer responded to an incident of public intoxication 6:24 a.m. Sunday outside of the Reilly Center.
The officer observed a vehicle outside of the center with an intoxicated person in the passenger seat.
The subject was issued a summons for Public Intoxication. New Orleans Emergency Services was notified and the subject was transported to Touro Hospital. The vehicle was removed from the location.
