Letter to the Editor: Dismantling of PVC silences student voices
Dear Editor,
The organizations that compose the Progressive Voter Coalition are often small in size, but never lacking in purpose or ambition. Simply put, the PVC serves the crucial role of providing a unified platform for smaller organizations to come together and exercise collective voice.
When the Awards and Elections Committee issued their dubious and ill-reasoned ruling on Thursday, it didn’t just dismantle the PVC. It silenced dozens of Tulanians. I don’t know who the PVC may have endorsed this election. No one does. It wasn’t given the chance.
The PVC may be barred from issuing an endorsement this election, but I endorse the PVC.
