Tulane weekly COVID-19 update
Tulane University’s current seven-day average percentage of positive tests is 6.1%, which is slightly lower than New Orleans’ positivity rate of 7.2%.

Since testing resumed at the start of the spring semester, Tulane has seen 1,382 individual tests positive, with slightly more students testing positive compared to faculty. Currently, there are 24 active cases. Tulane mandated the COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to the booster. The university has relaxed its routine testing, transitioning from weekly testing to random testing. However, students with vaccine exemptions are required to test twice weekly.
