A man accused of an on-campus fondling incident last week has been arrested, Tulane University Police Department announced Monday. 

Gregory McCrary, a non-affiliate of Tulane, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor Sexual Battery and Criminal Trespass. 

In an initial report Sept. 7, TUPD reported the victim was walking near the Commons and the Berger Family Lawn when the victim passed the subject at a table. The subject “started to walk with the victim, shortly thereafter he advised the victim that they had an insect on them and slapped the victim on the buttocks.”

Police issued a warrant for McCrary Sept. 8.
