A student reported that they were involved in a carjacking at approximately 3:14 a.m. Tuesday morning at the intersection of Nashville and Claiborne.

The student was stopped at the intersection when another vehicle bumped them from behind. The student exited their vehicle to assess the damage as three men exited the other vehicle.

One of the men pushed the student to the ground and entered the student’s vehicle. The other men returned to their own vehicle and they all fled the area down Claiborne towards Carrollton.

The student reported the incident to Tulane University Police Department. New Orleans Police Department is investigating the incident with TUPD.
