Student reports off-campus residential burglary on 1200 block of Pine Street
A student reported to Tulane University Police Department that their off-campus home on the 1200 block of Pine Street was burglarized.
The student left their house around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 and returned home at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. The student entered the house through the back door, but upon entering the house saw that the front door was wide open.
A silver MacBook Pro with identifiable stickers on the front owned by the reporting student was missing. When the student’s roommate returned home, they realized that their silver MacBook Pro in a black and beige laptop case was missing. The roommate was also missing a wallet containing several credit cards and forms of identification.
TUPD did not observe any signs of forced entry. The investigation is ongoing.
