Junior Sarah Hostetler wins Associated Student Body election

Students have selected junior Sarah Hostetler to serve as the Associated Student Body President for the 2015-16 academic year.
According to data from the ASB Elections Committee, Hostetler received 50.51 percent of the vote with 344 votes. Her opponent, junior Nicole Kang, received 275 votes, 40.38 percent of the vote. The remaining 9.11 percent went to an unknown write-in candidate.
Hostetler and Kang moved on to a run-off election after the first round of voting did not show a clear majority. They defeated sophomore Brian Nakhaimousa.
