Weekend crime report: April 13 – 16
The following crimes were reported to Tulane University Police Department between Thursday and Sunday.
Building fire:
A building fire was reported to officers around 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Primate Center in Covington, Louisiana.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and the investigation is open. No injuries were reported.
Theft:
Officers responded to a report of a stolen wallet around 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reily Student Recreation Center.
The reporting person arrived at the Reily Center around noon and placed his gym bag in the men’s locker room. He stated when he returned sometime between 1-2 p.m., his wallet was missing.
Officers filed a report and will review security footage.
