Officers arrested a suspect in connection with two armed robberies of Tulane students that occurred around 11 a.m. Monday. The first occurred in the 200 block of South Robertson Street and the second in the 100 block of LaSalle Street.

Officers confiscated a firearm and the stolen property during the arrest. Both victims positively identified the suspect as the person who had carried out the robberies and the property as what was stolen. The arrest was a cooperative effort of the New Orleans Police Department, the Louisiana State Patrol and Tulane University Police Department.
