An unknown white man broke into a female student’s residence hall room at 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Tulane University Police Department daily activity report. The student was sleeping and her room was unlocked.

According to the report, the man touched the student’s buttocks, which caused her to wake up. When she awoke, the man ran out of the room and escaped.
