September 21, 2014
Three men robbed a woman at 10:32 p.m. Saturday in her driveway on Newcomb Boulevard, according to the New Orleans Police Department Superintendent’s major offense log.
After pulling into her driveway, three black males approached the woman. One of the the suspects was armed and demanded the victim’s purse and car keys. She screamed, and the armed gunman struck her with his weapon. The victim fell to the ground, and the suspects took her purse and vehicle.
Tulane did not issue a crime alert. Tulane University Police Department Superintendent Jon Barnwell said TUPD didn’t issue one because NOPD did not report the incident to TUPD.
