August 25, 2014
Students piled outside of the Wilson Center Monday to pick up their game day tickets for the opening football game against Georgia Tech on Sept. 6.
Students receive free admission to each Tulane home game, but seats are limited. Students lined up to make sure they received their spots. On the first day students could get their tickets, 1,500 students showed up. Tulane athletics set aside 4,354 seats for students and 34 percent of those student seats were claimed.
The student section rarely filled during games in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. For more coverage on student tickets from The Hullabaloo.
