Tulane baseball changed head coaches over the summer before the season ended. On May 16, the university “mutually agreed to part ways” with then head coach Travis Jewett. Jay Uhlman, Jewett’s former assistant head coach, took his place on June 7 after guiding the team through the rest of the season as interim head coach.

Jewett was in his sixth season when he was released. His tenure saw the Green Wave build a good, but never great team. Jewett finished with a record of 160-138-1, with no conference championships or NCAA tournament appearances.
