Liberty Bank opened a location in the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life this week, promising one-on-one financial advising and financial seminars for Tulane University students.

The location, called “The Financial Spot,” celebrated its ribbon cutting Monday. The bank is located on the first floor of the Lavin-Bernick Center, between Technology Connection and the FedEx Office. It is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Liberty Bank will host a private meeting room for one-on-one financial advising, a gathering space for students and is planning a series of financial education seminars. The first webinar, “Being Responsible with Student Loans,” took place on Sept. 13 at 9 a.m. Another, “Green Table Conversation: Adulting 101,” will be held Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. Both feature panelists from Tulane and Liberty Bank.
