The United States Men’s National Team and England played to a scoreless draw in the second game of the 2022 World Cup. England has never beaten the U.S. in a World Cup game.

The US outplayed England for long stretches of the game and nearly scored when Christian Pulisic’s shot rattled the crossbar in the first half. On the other end, U.S. goalkeeper Matt Turner produced a fine save to deny Mason Mount before half time.

To advance to the Round of 16, the U.S. must defeat Iran in the final group game on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
