Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein headlines 2023 Book Fest

Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein and former New York Times Editor Dean Baquet will headline the second annual Tulane University Book Festival this spring. 

From March 9 to 11, authors including New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, novelist Richard Ford and historian Annette Gordon-Reed will host discussions and panels on campus. 

The event includes food, music and a family day designed to promote literacy. 

The festival will also highlight Tulane authors including English professors T.R. Johnson and Thomas Beller, architecture professors Richard Campanella and Jesse Keenan, history professor Rien Fertel, law professor Amy Gajda and university spokesman Mike Strecker.
