NOPD arrests suspect in connection to Oak Street kidnapping

New Orleans Police Department arrested 20-year-old Julian Correa Saturday in connection to a kidnapping which occurred at approximately 3 a.m. on Oct. 11 on Oak Street, according to a NOPD press release.

NOPD was able to identify the suspect through video surveillance footage. During the initial interview, Correa denied any involvement in the incident, but admitted to his involvement when police presented him with the evidence they had obtained. 

NOPD booked Correa on one count of simple battery and one count of second-degree kidnapping.
