Man armed with knife attacks Tulane affiliate
A man armed with a knife attacked a Tulane affiliate at about 4:20 a.m. Saturday on Oak Street near the corner of Pine Street, according to a Tulane University Police Department crime alert sent at 9:10 a.m.
According to the crime alert, the victim was returning to campus when a unknown man confronted the victim. The victim was able to break free and escape.
The suspect is described as five-foot-eight, wearing a white T-shirt with blue lettering and possibly Hispanic.
New Orleans Police Department is investigating the case.
