Update 3:20 p.m.: Broadway Street is now open to all traffic. 

A car flipped after striking a parked car at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Broadway and Birch streets.

Neither party was harmed in the accident. The block of Broadway Street from Birch to Green has been closed off to traffic on both sides.

Police responded around 2:30 p.m.

A second accident occurred at approximately 2:48 p.m., when a student’s vehicle hit a car from behind. Neither party was injured.

New Orleans Police Department responded to both accidents and were already on the scene for the second.
