More severe weather hit New Orleans

The National Weather Service New Orleans/Baton Rouge issued a slight risk of severe weather until 7 a.m. for April 14.

The warning said that scattered severe storms were possible with a moderate threat of damaging winds, tornadoes, large hail and flooding rain.

A flash flood watch was issued for all of Southeast Louisiana Wednesday morning, in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday morning. 

Wednesday night saw severe thunderstorms moving throughout central Louisiana and Mississippi.
