Tulane University Police Department responded to a report of an off-campus residential burglary Monday on the 2200 block of Calhoun Street.

 

Around 7 p.m., the reporting student left their house and walked toward the 2100 block of Calhoun to view the house fire that was occurring at the time.

 

The student returned to their home approximately twenty minutes later and realized their TV and ukulele were missing from inside the residence. 

 

The front door was closed when the student left the house, but it was not locked.

 

The investigation is ongoing.
