Tulane student arrested in hit-and-run accident

On Feb. 19 a Tulane University student was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run accident on State Street.

According to Tulane University Police Department, the victims told officers that someone had hit their legally-parked cars before exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot. TUPD identified the driver of the car as a Tulane student. Upon locating the student, TUPD said the suspect had minor injuries consistent with an auto crash. After his arrest, the student was medically cleared by Tulane Medical Center and officers transported him to Central Booking.
