On March 3, Tulane University Campus Health notified students that Tulane University has lifted its indoor mask mandate effective Thursday morning. The indoor mask mandate had been lifted previously and then reinstated just weeks before students left campus for winter break.

The announcement from Campus Health comes on the heels of New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s decision to lift the indoor mask mandate for the city of New Orleans. That announcement followed a change from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that advised indoor masking was no longer necessary for most places in the United States.
